How You Define The Word Sales – I think most network marketers would enjoy a sky rocket in their sales. Comment below “up sale” if you agree with me. The problem I see however, many want more sales, but don't claim to be in sales. We are all in sales no matter what we are doing. If there is something you want another to do, we are in sales. When your kids want a toy, they are selling you on why that toy is for them. If you want a spouse, you sell your spouse on why they should spend their life with you.
Power of Agreement – The Law of Agreement says that as we lend our agreement to any belief, we reinforce it and make it stronger. Alternatively, as we refrain from lending our agreement to an idea that isn't likely to give us the results we're looking for; we dilute it and weaken its power over us and over everyone else simultaneously.The same stands in network marketing. When we learn to agree with others, they tend to agree with us more often
Increase Your Questions Increase Your Sales– Most network marketers go for the close too soon. When you ask questions and use questioning velocity (asking more questions faster) this allows you to have your prospects close themselves. This also let's your prospect know that you are doing all you can to find the right information to ACTUALLY solve their problem! When someone knows your truly care about their problem, it becomes irresistible for that person to exchange money for the solution to that problem. Most people that make the decision to take their business seriously get to a place where they would rather have the results sooner than later. I was definitely one of those people. Wouldn't it be great to find the people that are ready to tell you “YES!” and either join your company or buy your product(s) from you! Thats a perfect world right? Now that may not be possible to get that to 100% but there are ways to increase that number! My suggestion talk to more people that are already in network marketing! Now you may be asking yourself a few things. First why would I want to talk to people already in a network marketing business? Aren't they already in a business? 97% of network marketers are struggling in their business (From a total of 10k different companies) and have realized leadership, community, training, are vital for success. they are more than likely are not getting those currently! 7 Reasons To Have A Coach
Accountability– Sometimes its hard to realize how important accountability is until we look around at all the inconsistent marketers in the industry. Thats one reason I created a consistency guide. To help our own team with their consistency. Its hard for someone that works a job 12 hours per day, having someone like their boss hold them accountable for EVERYTHING, and expect them to be consistent in a business. The two just don't add up. Now I am not suggesting you hire a coach to take the place of a boss. This coach in your network marketing business should hold you accountable in the creation of NEW HABITS. Chances are you will not be able to hold yourself accountable for things that will take you
Saves Time/ Faster Results – We live in a microwave society now. People are looking for faster, better, smarter. If you are looking for directions to a specific location you ask a person that is from the area and has “been there” before. You don't waste time asking the person that doesn't know the area extremely well. This will save you time and get you to your location faster! I can say from experience, at the time of this post only spent a few years in the industry and having this amount of success. Double Down and Go 10x
As I train entrepreneurs all over the world I find that many will get a tiny result in their business and get frustrated that they are NOT where they want to be. Part of growth as an entrepreneur is taking the time to look at and track what actually works inside of your model. Once you have enough data to conclude if something is working, DOUBLE DOWN or 10x what works. Take what is working for you and make that 90% of your action. Be obsessed with what works and get into action.
Crush Everything That Does Not Work
Most people are not in enough action to determine if a particular action does not work. Many entrepreneurs will assume that something doesn't work with out taking the proper steps. Gather your data, take action, and determine if something does NOT work. Once you have come to that conclusion. CRUSH WHAT DOES NOT WORK. Never do that action again. Run as far away from it as possible!
Entrepreneurs are always looking for the next breakthrough to help them in their business. Being in the industry of entrepreneurhship since 2014 I have had my share of breakthroughs. Some small, some big, some utterly life changing. If its one thing I know each of those breakthroughs started with a change in mindset. I have often been told, “your best thinking got you here, so if you want to go somewhere else you got to think on a higher level”. Interview any millionaire, billionaire, they will all say its starts with your mindset! In this blog post I share with you the 6 mindset shifts that helped me to make more money and make it with less effort! These shifts will help you increase your influence, your value, your authority. You'll create the inspiration and the impact that you're looking for in order to attract more people that want to work with you and your business.
1. Shift Your View Around Money
Part of your shift to making more money is changing your view on how you look and feel about money. The first rule of making more money is understanding that money is simply a by product of the value that you put into the market place. “You will always be paid in direct correlation to the value that you produce. The next mindset tweak in regards to shifting into making more money is knowing that money is currency. This means that money is attracted to speed and always moving! Money that sits still gets spent! This is why its so important to invest in things like traveling, education, tools, relationships. Use your money to help you attract more money to you. Keep your money moving in order to speed up the current or flow of money to you. Lastly, money is easy to make. Repeat after me, “money is easy to make”. Most people have this prognosis that money is hard to make! Start telling yourself how easy it is to attract money to you and watch how fast your start to actually believe it!
2. Shift Your View Around Time
Time is absolutely one of the most priceless resources on the planet. Clearly because time is the one thing on this earth that no matter what you do, how much money you make, you can not get it back once it has passed! One of the best things over my years as an entrepreneur that I have learned about time is that people with little time have money. If you're looking to increase your income, search out and attract people with NO TIME, they have money! Finally, the question about time that will shift how you view it. “What is the best use of my time RIGHT NOW”. Force yourself to answer this question and 9/10 you'll find the answer will be some sort of money making activity. Ask yourself this question multiple times a day and watch your activity and time management sky rocket!
3. Shift Your View Around Selling
What do you think when you hear the word “sell” Do you think sleazy car salesman? Do you think education about a product or service? Many times the perception you have around this little four letter word will greatly impact the amount of money you make. Understand that no matter what the circumstance you're either selling people on a reason to work with you or you're selling them on a the reason not to work with you. From the moment you're born, you're in the sale. If you have kids you know exactly what I mean. Selling makes the world go around. Selling makes the economy good and selling can make the economy bad. The economy has little to do with whats sold. The economy is dictated by sales. When a company is looking to lay off employees its typically due to a decrease in sales and marketing. Show me a company that is successful that thrives on lowering their marketing budget.
4. Shift Your View of “Prospecting”
My view on this word has changed a lot over the years. If you prospect for your business in order to gain customers you may feel the same way. When I first was told to prospect, I immediately thought to myself “Hunt”. I would be hunting people down, looking for them to buy my product. I wasn't getting the desired results and now I completely understand why. My thought process around the prospecting process was not empowering to the results I was looking to achieve. So I made a shift. How can i go make more friends. How can I make better friends today. I liked making friends. I liked meeting new people . This changed my entire outlook on how I went about prospecting inside of my business.
5. Shift Your View on Cost Vs. Invest
This shift was a big one for me and is a huge shift for many of my 1 on 1 coaching clients. The longer you ask “how much will this cost me?”. The longer you'll find yourself in situations of costly measure. Looking for more ways to invest in yourself is one key to making money effortless as an entrepreneur. Part of making more money is the ability to charge more for the same service you may have done years before. My first coaching client paid me $77/hr. Fast forward some years, investments, and major growth, at the time of this post I currently am paid over $300/hr. Had I looked at those investments as cost I assure I would not be in the position to raise my price. Am I doing anything different? No. I still do the same service for the same amount of time. The word “cost” can cost you a lot of money.
6. Shift Your View On People
Last but certainly NOT least. You must shift the way you look at people as a whole. Fill in the blank. People are ________. You may have said people are greedy, selfish, arrogant, rude. You could have also said people are smart, kind, caring, funny, giving! Is one right over the other? of course not. There is no right or wrong answer. You choose the answer that best suits the results you're looking for. People have money. You want more of it. So in order to get people to give you the money that they have earned you my friend must Master People.
