Growing Your Network Marketing Business With Facebook

Growing your network marketing business on Facebook can be pretty simple and easy when its done correctly. Most people just won't take the time to do it the right way. Instead most would rather be lazy and spam/blast their business all over the place instead of working on becoming the most attractive person online, and having the majority of people reaching out to them. In today's post I will break down building your Facebook profile to help you more effectively build your network marketing business online. Building my mlm using Facebook has been vital and I want to make it easier for you! I have included a full detail PDF and was as a FREE step by step walkthrough course where I show you live exactly what I do daily on Facebook! Enjoy.

I've successfully recruited over 600 people, most of them coming from using the internet. Even the people that I recruit offline I tend to usually meet those people on the internet first. One thing that really helped me out in my business, when I was working and just got in network marketing I had been working 70 hours per week. For me, I had a really tough time trying to find time to fit in the activities to build my network marketing business.

What I want to show you is if you can do some things two hours a day is about all you need to build a thriving network marketing business. You just have to make sure that those two hours are very well spent.

Building Your Network Marketing Business Using Facebook Profile

First things first is you got to know if you want to go full-time in the networking business especially using Facebook you've got to be adding 20 people per day. You've got to be talking to 20 people per day and five people need to see your presentation each day. That means chances are you've got to start getting on the phone with at least five people per day. Those are the prerequisites. Now you just don't add 20 random people, you just can't go on and say, “You know what? Okay, I'm going to add 20 people just randomly.”

Build The Right Audience 

One of the things that we teach our clients all the time is any business online it comes down to building an audience, engaging with that audience, and then solving that audience's problem so they want to buy from you. Facebook is one of those places where if you build the right audience your income, the ceiling on your income is lifted off but you have to make sure you're building the right audience. One, make sure to connect people that are like you. I'm not going to make this a targeting training but make sure you're connecting with people that are like you. One of the easiest ways to define a target market especially if you're new is look at yourself. Look at the desires, the needs, the wants. What's going on in your life? What kind of job do you have? Why did you join your network marketing business? What are the pains that you have in your life? Look around at your life. Describe yourself, put yourself on paper and ask yourself, “Where is this person hanging out on Facebook? What kind of groups are they in? What pages to they like? What are they commenting on? What are they sharing?” You can find this person on Facebook and I'll show you how to do that in my 30 minute video if you click the link below here and grab that video.
If you're talking to the wrong people nothing that I tell you going forward here is going to really help you out. That's one thing that I would say to really, really help you out when it comes to building your network marketing business using a free profile on Facebook. Another thing is make sure that your profile actually has a picture of you, something smiling, something that's very inviting to you. I would make sure that your picture is not something like your cat, your dog, your company logo, company product. Same thing with your cover photo. Get to something where it's a more engaging lifestyle kind of thing that people say, “You know what? I think I want to look more into this person, I'd really like to connect with this person.”

When and Where To Send Links

Make sure, don't put your link inside of your description on Facebook. It's not clickable so there's really no point in putting any type of company link there or anything like that. One tip with Facebook is I'm not a big fan of posting your company replicated link anywhere in any post, in anywhere because you can't collect leads doing that so I'm not a big fan of that. Make sure that you're not really … Having 5,000 friends isn't the cool thing anymore, it's really about getting follows, making sure people click the see first button. That way they see your post immediately, they see when you go live immediately. It's more about quality over quantity so making sure that your page is public, making sure that your follow button is on. Making sure that people can connect with you, not just have to be friends with you because I don't like the whole maxed out thing. You're better off having 3,500 friends that are targeted than 5,000 friends that don't engage with you and have no clue what you do.
Another tip too that can really, really help you out when you're looking to build your network marketing business using Facebook is sharp what you're reading. One of my things is if you're reading every day … Facebook is about content, Facebook is about sharing your life. Creating good content is one of those things where most of us aren't good writers and we don't express ourselves through words very well. You have to practice that.

Books Are Your Friends

One of the things that can help you express yourself better is everything that you read make sure that you're expressing that. Instead of just saying reading something, finding a paragraph that you love, find that paragraph and elaborate on that paragraph in your own words. You'll find that … If it's from a book it's already well written so now if it's your own words you're taking something that's well written and putting it into your own thoughts. That's what helped me out so much in the beginning was I was reading all these books. Every single day I would read 10 pages of a good book. Instead of copy and pasting or copying word for word what was in the book I would take that paragraph and I would elaborate that in my own words to the best of my ability.
I started sharing stories with people. I started sharing stories of my own experiences, I started sharing stories from other people. I started sharing stories with things that I would hear in interviews and things like that. That was really, really big for me. One of my biggest tips I can give you is whatever book you're reading, if it's something that your audience wants to hear elaborate on that and you'll become a better writer, people start sharing your stuff more, people start engaging with your stuff more because it's your words that can really skyrocket your engagement on social media.

Getting More Engagement 

Now if you want to get more engagement one of my biggest tips I can give you is if you want to get engaged with more you have to be engaging. What's that mean? You have to go out and like other people's post, share other people's post, comment on other people's post. Be that new person that comments and make someone say, “Oh cool, I've never seen that person comment.” Most of the people that comment on Facebook are the exact same people. You probably have posts that you see the exact same people comment pretty much most of the time, you've created kind of a little bit of a tribe. What you want to do is you want to be that new person to pop up in someone else's post. Comment on things, share things, like things. Engage with other people and then they'll look to you and then they'll probably engage with you more. That's one big tip that I can give you there.
You don't have to post 10 times a day. You're better off posting two, three times a day tops. Make sure that you have quality posts that people want to engage with. Understand your target audience, that's the most important thing when it comes to building a personal page on Facebook is understanding your target audience. Understand who you want to connect with, who can you help. Understand that and you're going to win.

Progress Not Perfection 

My last tip for you today guys is focus on progress, focus on progress, not perfection. A lot of people they think that they've got to be perfect, they've got to create this life that is a fairytale life on social media. People want to see you be vulnerable. They want to see you doing your first thing. They want to see you stepping out there on that ledge doing your first video, creating a newsletter, creating a blog. Doing the things that you fear and being open about it, being public about it, being vulnerable about it. That's one of the most important things that can allow that target audience to want to engage with you. When they start engaging with you they'll want to share their problems with you. Friends tell friends problems so when people start to open up and engage with you they'll share their problems. Then you can offer your network marketing company, you can offer your affiliate company, you can offer your own personal service. Whatever it is you can offer that as a solution to their problem and most people will gladly exchange money to solve their problems. Why, because they do it every single day.

Creating A Profitable Network Marketing Daily

How to design a profitable network marketing daily routine may possibly be one of the most frequently asked questions by new and season network marketing professionals. You may be one of the millions that sit in front of their laptop and wonder what the heck should I be doing? Then most of your time is spent surfing the internet, scrolling Facebook, watching funny videos, and your commissions seem to reflect just that. If you're tired of not knowing what to do each day this blog post will help tremendously. But first in order to make sure you can actually use the information I give you to create the network marketing routine you want I have to cover a couple of things. First, whats the real reason you would even do this daily routine, day in and day out. You may want to write that down, it some good detail. Second, are you willing to become the person that no matter the circumstances this daily routine was be completed, no matter what? The Perfect Network Marketing Daily Routine –

Decide The Time –

The fist step in coming up with a daily routine that you can actually stick with is deciding that amount of time you choose to work your business and do the activities required to get into profit. For example, lets say you choose to work your business 4 hours per day. Perfect now choose 4- 1hour time slots to work your business. I would suggest using the mentality of actually clocking in and clocking out, just as if you were working a job. This seems to help many new marketers, and those making less than $1k/mo. Treat your business like a job until the business is truly running like a business.

Track Your Time –

Screen Shot 2017-06-26 at 10.04.50 AMIts hard to choose where to fit in your business with your already busy life right? Its hard if we don't know where I time is going. The case for many network marketers is they feel they need more time, but have no idea where all their time is going exactly. This is not good! Take a sheet of paper and for the next 24-48 hours track what gets done each 30 minutes to 1 hour. After this is tracked for the next two days you'll have a very clear idea of where your time is being spent. You can now effectively eliminate waisted time, and replace with money making business activity to get you into profit. This is a very important step in creating a solid network marketing daily routine.

List The Essentials –

This is where people try to do too much or they do more than they can handle. Understand you must become the person that can handle multiple streams of income, etc. List out the 1-2 things that must be done today before moving on to anything else. Period. No exceptions. Until those task are complete, nothing else exist. If you want to develop a solid network marketing daily routine, this step will be one of your most important. Just a few of the things that get done no matter what each day are, reading, calling leads, emailing my list, creating a piece of content, and some sort of marketing training. List your essentials and comment them below.

Start With The End In Mind –

You heard the phase before, begin with the end in mind. That applies when creating your network marketing daily routine as well. If you start with the year plan, the next 12 months, where will you be? Where do you see yourself? What would it take to get there? Now work backwards and design a plan for each quarter, then each month, then the weeks, and now you can easily figure out what you should be doing each day to reach or even exceed your goals

The Secret Sauce –

So whats the secret sauce for putting together your perfect network marketing daily routine? The answer is BECOME. You must become the person that would actually do it. You must become the person that would have the type of vision that doing this daily routine would not be an option. Your calling is so large that NOT doing this daily routine would be selfish and cruel to the world that you decided to play small, again. Focus on becoming, and not so much having and you'll get to the place where you HAVE everything you desire.

When Is The Best Time To Start A Network Marketing Blog

When should you start of a network marketing blog if you're looking to build your network marketing business online with the best? You don't want to bug your family and friends with your opportunity, so going to the internet is the smart move right? Of course, but only when done correctly. Unfortunately, there are too many network marketers abusing the power of the internet and social media by operating the wrong way. From being spammy, posting only about their mlm, the list of online no no's could go on forever. How do you really grow your network marketing business using a network marketing blog? In today's post I will share some tips that can get you started plus answer some questions when to start a network marketing blog. Watch the video and feel free to comment below your take away's

Currently we have enrolled over 600 people over our career inside network marketing. We've built teams in the thousands, and we've created success in a lot of different arenas. Becoming one of the top affiliate marketers in the world. And now helping network marketers create success faster while showing them how to create a lifestyle that they actually love. All in the pockets of their spare time or lunch break. You know, we see too many network marketers out there that create another job. We don't want that. We really want to show you how to create a life you love and blogging can help you do that. But there's a lot of questions that surround blogging and if it's effective. When to start is a major question. I want to give you some tips today that can really help you in your journey, in network marketing and blogging.

When To Start Your Network Marketing Blog

So, I'll be the first to admit, when I first started in network marketing, I was told to start a blog, but I didn't. And honestly, I'm glad I didn't, you know, I kind of waited to start a blog. But there's a lot of things that I wish would have done differently when I started my career as a network marketer and really took my business seriously online.

Why blog? You should blog because one, you don't own social media. You don't own your Twitter page, you don't own Facebook, you don't own YouTube. They could shut you down immediately. And if that's your main source of traffic, your main source of leads, then you're kind of done, right?

With a blog, you own it. With your email list, you own it. You can do whatever you want on your blog. That's very important to understand of why you should actually have a network marketing blog. You can create leverage. When people start going to your page and following your blog and getting on your email list, what that does is it creates a residual lead flow. When you can create residual leads, you can create residual sales. And that's what most people want is, they want that two to five sales per day coming in on clockwork, residually.

Ready To Brand Yourself and Not Your MLM

When should you start your network marketing blog? One, you should start it when you are ready to brand yourself. And when is that? That should be NOW. You should be branding yourself now. Not too long ago, someone came to us, and they said, “Hey, I started this blog and it kind of helped me out, but then I changed companies, and now I gotta, my blog name was the company name.” And that's a huge no-no. So, if you're doing anything on any social media, any Internet period, don't brand your company, brand yourself. Brand your name and what you do. Because a lot of times, most people, and if I'm speaking to you, chances are the networking company that you're in right now isn't your first, okay?

There's a high chance that the one you're in right now may not be your last, okay? So anything could happen.
The company could shut down. You change your goals, they change their product, they change the con-plan. Anything could happen. So you want to build your blog around your brand. Build your blog around something that you stand for, okay? Build your blog around something that people can follow you, they can get a lot of value from. But if you did change companies or decide to change a direction, that your blog wouldn't change with it. That way, it doesn't confuse your audience and they can remain your audience and still know that “Hey, you know what? He or she can solve my problem.”

Are You Addicted To The Outcome?

Tip number two of when you should start your blog is if you are addicted to the outcome with your warm markets. So what I mean by that is if your warm market says no to you and that would make you mad, frustrated, sad, whatever it is, if it changes your heart rate when your warm market says so, so if you went to your mom and you would be upset that she said, “No, I don't want your products, I don't want to be a part of that company,” then you should start a blog. That's a great place to say, “You know what? I'm going to go out and I'm going to start attracting a cold market to me. I'm going to go ahead and start attracting people that are looking for me to me.” One of the things I would say when you're, if you are addicted to the outcome of your warm market, don't tell them about your business. You may tell them about your product, but still, don't be addicted to the outcome. You can start a blog.

Now realize blogging is marketing. So, marketing is different from prospecting. Prospecting is me actively putting my video in front of people. Marketing is when people actually find my video. I put my video out in Internet land, and people find it. I could prospect someone and say, “Hey, I have a blog post that I did on that,” or I could run a Facebook ad around a blog post or I could put it on YouTube and people find it. Again, if you are addicted to the outcome with your warm market, a suggestion may be, go to start a blog and start doing things that will attract a cold market to you so you can start building a better list of people to talk to.

And then, once you've gone out and created a result, when you talk to your warm market, when it doesn't matter, you'll have more posture. It'll be much better for you and it'll also be much better for them. It'll be a much better experience for them. So, hopefully that helps.

Ready To Create Leverage Inside of Your Business?

Tip number three when it's a great time to start a blog is when you realize the importance of time and leverage. So what I mean by this is when you have a blog, it allows you to create kind of a hub, a home, especially if you're building a network marketing team, you can use that blog to have certain trainings. So, if someone's asking a question, actually just as a reference, this blog was inspired by someone that it's in our group coaching. She's a group coaching client. She happened to ask a question on one of our Q&As, and I said, “You know what? That would be a great post to do for my blog.” So, if you have teammates, if you have prospects that are asking certain questions and you want to create leverage, I can use this blog post, or you can use your blog post to use over and over and over again. They can rewind it. That saves you time. It saves you all sorts of effort.
So your blog can not only help you with your team, it can help you with prospects, it can help you with a whole gamut of things, because it … This video, it can stay around forever. I don't have to spend my time fifteen minutes on the phone with someone when I can just send them the link to this blog post. And you can do that, too. Once you realize how important time and how important leverage is to your business and what you do, I would say it's a great time to start your blog.

Network Marketing Blog Advice and Resources

I just gave you some quick tips on how to or when the best time would be to start your blog. But now I want to give you some tips on if you go out there and you say, “You know what? I want to take some action. I want to go out there and start a network marketing blog. What should I do?” Now, one of the cool things that I kind of mentioned earlier about blogging is that people can find you. People can find you. But they can't find you unless you actually do some pretty good keyword research.

Now, there's some awesome tools out there to help you learn keywords and things like that. So, I would highly recommend if you do start blogging, get in touch with some good keyword research tools. There's literally hundreds of thousands of them. Do your research. Go to Google. You can type, you can find some great things to help you get better at keywords, get some cool keyword training. Me myself? I use something called My Lead System Pro. It's got great blog training, great keyword training. I've been using that for three years and it's really helped me out.

So, if you want people to be able to find you online, whether they type in your name or they type in that keyword in whatever they're using, they'll find your network marketing blog post. Then they'll find you, then they'll get all of your information and they'll be able to contact you, they'll be able to put their name, phone number, email into a capture page and you can call them, connect with them. They show up to your webinars, they show up to your Facebook Lives. I mean, it's so cool what a blog can do for your business. But you've got to be able to be set up so people can find you.
One major tip that I would give for anybody that's new to blogging is I would say make sure just to share your life on a basis that you can commit to. A lot of people are like, “Well, you gotta blog everyday.” Or, “You gotta do this.” Don't commit to something that you can't do. I tried to blog everyday and I realized, you know what? I didn't need to blog everyday. Honestly, my audience didn't want me to blog everyday. So I started blogging once a week. We actually do a blog every Monday now. So, the blog goes out on Mondays and my audience loves it and I drive traffic to that blog throughout the week and then after I drive my own traffic, I put it out and run some ads and let other things drive traffic to that particular blog post.

Now, the cool thing is, once a blog post is really good, it could last years, even decades, and people are still going and finding that post and you getting leads and sales ten years later just because of a cool blog post that you did today. I highly recommend that you just share your life. You don't focus on perfection, you focus on progress and you get to a place where you can actually commit to something. So, if you want to commit to once a month, do a blog post once a month. If you want to commit to every two weeks, or Tuesdays and Thursdays, or once a week, my recommendation is just commit to something that you can actually commit to and let your audience know, “Hey guys, I'm going to do a blog post every Monday,” so you're held accountable to do that, and they start to expect it.
So I'm going to share some cool resources that have helped me in my blogging journey. One is Rev.com. Rev.com is a cool website that actually transcribes videos. So, if I wanted to take this video and have them transcribe it into text to use for my blog post, it would take … It would probably cost me twenty bucks to do this video, and they would transcribe it.

For any of my people out there that don't like writing, they're scared of the blogs because, “I'm not good at writing,” well, there's a solution out there for you, it's called Rev.com. You can use that. It's a really cool service. Again, very low-cost service as well. As long as you're cool with shooting the video, which you definitely should be getting more comfortable with shooting videos for your network marketing business, because it just allows you to connect with people, you can take that video, send it into Rev.com, they'll transcribe it. They'll send you back the text. All you're going to do is just kind of proofread it and then boom, you've got a blog post.

Another cool resource is Fiverr. You can find some reallyl cool people on Fiverr that do graphics, that will set up your blog, they'll do all sorts of stuff on Fiverr. You kind of have to sift through some people there. So if you find anybody good, make sure that you keep 'em, because you can always find a personal assistant there, too. So if you want to have someone outsource your blog or your keyword research or anything that has to do with your blog that may be taking you too much time to learn or if it's not worth your time, then I highly recommend hopping over to Fiverr, going over to Upwork or Odesk or something like that, that way you can get what you need to get done, outsource. You don't have to do it. You can concentrate on what you're good at.

Network Marketing Blog Advice & Resources Cont. 

And my last tip to help you guys save some money, because sometimes setting up a blog on your own is not only difficult but it can be a little pricey, so there are some options out there that can really truly save you some money. Me personally, I truly love what My Lead System Pro did with their WordPress blog add-on, because it allows you to set up your blog. It comes with instructions to set up your blog. And you know, I've set up plenty of blogs before and typically it'll cost you around $500 to $1000 to start a blog, depending on the theme, depending on who hosts the site.
The cool thing about MLSP is they give you the Divvie Theme, which is about a $200 theme off the bat if your just buy it through something, an off-site with WordPress. It'll automatically save you about $200 bucks there. You won't get any instructions if you just go through WordPress, so that's, you can put your own value on that. You're gonna get all the plug-ins you need for network marketers, so all the plug-ins are right there for you, so you don't have to worry about getting viruses from plug-ins. You don't have to worry about if you're downloading the right plug-ins. All the plug-in questions are right there for you, as well as they've got it already integrated into your lead system and all that good stuff.
So one of the coolest things that can actually save you some money when you're blogging, it's got Yoast SEO, all sorts of cool tools that are kind of added in there for you. So if you want to start a blog and you're looking to save some money and make it a lot easier on you when you start your blog, I would highly recommend going through My Lead System Pro to get your blog and if you want to do that, all you gotta do is hop over to www.MLMValue.com. Network marketing excuses can be the Achilles heal for most reps looking to build a large organization. If your goal is to get under a network marketers skin, find their most hated excuse and use it on them. Anything from, I don't have the time, I don't have the money, let me do my research…the list could go on forever right? But what if there was a way to effectively handle network marketing excuses? Better yet what if there was a way to avoid network marketing excuses all together. Over my career I have heard every excuse in the book from Prospects. Honestly, there are only about 12 you'll ever hear throughout your entire career. Learn to handle those and nothing should ever jump out at you. But it's important to understand I rarely hear the network marketing excuses that many people expressed they get often. This post will share with you how and why it's possible to avoid network marketing excuses and how you can do the same. Please note, when you get certain excuses from people it simple means you haven't done the right things during the prospecting process. Not asking the right questions, not having the right posture are just a couple of pre prospecting essentials to limiting and avoiding network marketing excuses.

Handling Network Marketing Excuses

Decide You Don't Take That Crap

Decide You Don't Take Excuses – Its extremely powerful to have the choice of who you work with and who you choose not to work with. Most network marketers are no where near this position for one simple reason, they don't have enough leads. Most network marketers don't have enough people to talk to daily that are actually open and ready to buy. This is a problem, it leaves many marketers in desperation mode. You may have been in this position as well, head to the internet and start spamming people in a last ditch effort to make some money. Wrong move. Learn to keep your pipeline full of warm prospects that know you and trust you. You may be asking how do I do that. Educate your audience on things they do not know. If you're in weight loss educate people on 3 simple ways to lose 10lbs this summer to feel great in a bikini. If you're in network marketing educate people some of the tax benefits of having a home business. 

Personal Branding/Authority

Create A Personal Brand That Has Authority – When you brand yourself, the right customers show up pre sold. The same goes for network marketing excuses. When you brand yourself correctly you'll run into less excuses. Why you ask? People don't use many excuses with authority figures. Don't believe me, look around at your favorites in any given niche. No one ever wants to look bad around the people they look up to. No one wants to be known as an excuse maker, especially to those they care about their status or opinion. 

Talk To People That Buy Your Stuff

Only Prospect People Who Buy Your Product – Marketing 101, sell your products and services to people that already buy similar products and services. Why spend time convincing people to buy something they aren't in the habit of buying. Changing another humans habits is by far one of the hardest thing for us to do. In order for someone to change their habits it must be their idea, not yours.

In network marketing this is something you see often you'll see big leaders take massive drones of people to a new company. They spend the majority of their time working with people that they have worked with in the past or by prospecting others in the industry. This works well for the person that isn't a top earner as well. However, when prospecting fellow marketers there is a RIGHT way and a WRONG way. Even with this strategy we see more people doing it the wrong way. If you set the intention of making someones life easier, and provide solutions that are not based on your agenda. You will always be headed in the right direction. My Lead System Pro effectively taught me the right way to do this.

Example:

I was at an event in January full of marketers. The speaker did something pretty cool. He asked the audience who was in network marketing, 97% of the room raised their hand. He then asked who wants to hear about someone else's product (Shakes, oils, deals, etc)? Immediately every hand went down. He then asked who wants to hear tips, tricks, and strategies to build their business. Immediately all the hands went right back up. The moral of the story is give the audience what they want first. After that if they are open to new opportunity great, show them your business, if not that's great too. Remember 97% of network marketers are making less than $400/mo. Many are open to new things because they are not happy with leadership, training, support, or community. I won't take that away from anyone.

The only bad thing was the people I was finally recruiting into my business weren't doing much. The point of having a network marketing business/team is to create a business or team! Something with some real leverage. In Today's blog post I will share with you the best people to prospect for your network marketing business!

Who Are The Best MLM Prospects

Busy People Are Awesome

Busy People – Lets face it busy people just get shit done. If you're like me, in the past I used to prospect people that “needed” this business and that I knew would say “yes”. I found myself avoiding the people that I figured would tell me “no”. This is a huge mistake that many marketers make. I would highly suggest reading the book Go For No. Its a great read for any network marketing pro. Everyone is looking for the best mlm prospects, but often times I see marketers search for the stay at home mom, or unemployed person that could really use an extra income. Though there is nothing wrong with that, typically I find that they will join and not do much. I don't recommend pre judging any prospect by any means, but busy people just get shit done. Busy people multitask and find that mlm is the perfect supplement to their busy lives. Here is the thing though, Busy people like working with other busy people, so BE BUSY! Other MLM'ers

Other Network Marketers – I love to prospect people in other network marketing companies or that have a history of liking network marketing. You may be thinking to yourself, “If they are already in a network marketing, why would they want to see mine?” To be clear, some are not open to looking at yours, and are completely happy with their current company. However, most people in network marketing lack good leadership, don't like their communities, don't get support, and struggling to make progress. Its always good to ask if someone is open to take a look. These are people that have already said “Yes, I want to make money in mlm” and are ready to go to work with you. For the happy ones, I simply ask if they are doing well generating leads online, (most say no), and if they are open to making money from the 70-90% of people that say “No” to their mlm. Sponsor Up & RepeatWhat would you rate yourself on a scale of 1-10? Be honest? You don't have to tell me, but be honest with yourself. Once you decide your number pick 10 people on your list and rate them as well. If you rated yourself a 6/10, spend more time prospecting the others on your list above 6. Many people seek comfort, they subconsciously prospect the people on their list that are 5's and below. Why, because if they get a “No”, at least it was from a person that they socially think they are above. Don't believe me? Just look around at who you've prospecting in the past week. Look at the people your teams prospect.

Working your business is NOT all about posting on social media. Sorry to break it to you, but there is so much more to building a thriving network marketing business. It's about what you are doing BEHIND the scenes of your timeline. Its about the person you're being behind the scenes. Connecting, talking, developing relationships, etc. Today I want to share some cool ways to Increase your social media engagement. The fantasy land of making tons of cash by posting about your products and business is NOT a reality…However, growing an audience that love you for solving their problems can create tons of cash. This is not possible if you're not getting engagement on social media, so as I share these tips on increasing your social media engagement, promise me that you'll take action by leaving a comment in the comments section.

 

7 Ways To Increase Your Social Media Engagement 

  1. Be Yourself!!!! – This is the hardest one for people to grasp. The goal is the have the exact same life on social media as you do in actual life. Most have a flawed perception of what their audience wants to really see. Your audience wants to see you be yourself. They want to see you live an extraordinary life and go on a journey with you. My advice document your life on social media just like reality tv.
  2. Be Vulnerable (Let People In) – The hardest thing for people to do is be vulnerable on social media. From the time we are kids, we are self taught to never show weakness. Vulnerability isn't weakness however, its the ultimate form of POWER. What are you most afraid of? Are you afraid of live video? What about picking up the phone, is it sharing your struggle? Whatever it is you are afraid, thats the key to your next breakthrough. Write down a few things you are afraid of and share them on social media in a way that inspires people.
  3. Who is Your Audience? – Could you imagine giving a very important pitch to something and after realizing that the audience doesn't even speak English. They had no idea what you said. On social media you're more than likely not speaking the right language if you're not having the impact you desire. Understand you your friends are on social media.   4. Engage with others – Comment. Share. Inbox. – Everyone wants more people to like share and comment on their post. Most of us know that the more engagement the longer a particular post, video, or pictures stays in the newsfeed. One way to get other people to engage more is to engage more on other people's stuff. Like their post, comment and share their videos. Engage on their pictures. You'll be surprised how this changes the way people connect with you on social media
  5. Leave an open loop – What's the mystery in your marketing. Practice leaving an open loop with your strategic post if you want to increase your engagement on social media. This forces people to reach out to you. Most home biz owners get so anxious about building their business, they give away the ending to the movie right away
  6. What is the first impression on your timeline – Most network marketers profiles are a sales page.You won't increase your engagement on social media if this is the goal. People don't want to be sold when they hop on social media. Most people that buy actually don't buy on social media. Most buyers purchase from blogs or emails.
  7. Tell an awesome story everyday – People love stories, we are conditioned from childhood to feel safe with stories. Prospects feel the same way. Become a good story teller and watch your engagement go out of the roof! So the last tip on increasing your engagement on social media is every morning decide the story you will tell. My advice is tell the story of your life yesterday. What happened yesterday? If you're out doing your business and living your life daily you should never run out of content to talk about.
