I was talking with a good friend of mine who build a very large business using only his WARM market. As we bounced ideas off of each other, even though I think its awesome for some to grow large businesses using their warm market, what if you bring in people that don't have that warm market, sure you can teach them some basic strategies, but if they come to you for cold market tips, what do you do, what do you say? Well here are 3 tips on WHY you should learn cold market prospecting, no matter what the current situation.


  1. People you meet in your cold market have no idea who you are. And You may be saying to yourself, how is this positive! This is great because it means a CLEAN SLATE! They do not know your resume or your track record. You might have heard the phrase “You're either punished or rewarded for the life you led BEFORE network marketing” So whether you've failed in 10 companies in the past, No one knows that. Your first impression is all they know. So make sure its a good one!

  2. Network marketing is a numbers game. Knowing this is a huge part in having success in the majority of network marketing careers. There will always be more people in your cold market than your warm market, even if you're the president! So with that being said its much easier to play this numbers game in the cold market.

  3. Like I said before, your team or future team, might not have a strong warm market, so in order to ensure that person can duplicate their business. Know a little about cold marketing networking will serve you well as you build a strong network marketing business.
